What do I do as a birth doula?
I am here to comfort, advise, and help mamas find the calm and power within their pregnancy, birth, & 4th trimester! This includes providing evidence-based information, a safe space for you and your family, someone who will undoubtedly support your decisions. Along with supporting you in your moments of vulnerability and in your moments of strength. I am here with open ears, hands, and heart to serve you.
What do I do as a postpartum doula?
How will hiring you affect my partner’s role during the birth?
When serving you, the goal is to help you (mama) and all who are involved to transition smoothly into their new roles by providing emotional, mental, and physical support! As well as equipping you (mama) and others involved with the knowledge and confidence that is needed in the crucial first weeks after delivery!
Consider me an older sister you never had, or a birth trainer! I am here to elevate your partner! I am an extra set of eyes, ears, and hands! Your partner knows you best and provides the loving connection that is necessary for the birthing process! I'm the little bird giving gentle reminders or suggestions for positions and comfort techniques your partner can use to help ease your mind and body.
When should I hire a birth doula?
Most clients hire a birth doula between 20–30 weeks of pregnancy, but availability varies. Earlier booking helps ensure availability around your due date.
What if I need a cesarean birth?
Doulas support all types of birth, including planned and unplanned cesareans. Support may include pre-surgery emotional support, partner support, and postpartum care depending on hospital policies.
How long does postpartum support last?
Postpartum support can begin immediately after birth and continue for weeks or months, depending on your needs and package selection.
What is your cancellation or refund policy?
Cancellation, rescheduling, and refund terms are outlined in the service contract. Retainers are typically non-refundabledue to on-call commitment.
